CAREER EXPERIENCE :
1968 - 1981 : Trained as a quantity surveyor with Northcroft,
Neighbour and Nicholson, became senior surveyor responsible
for major construction projects up to £20,000,000, in charge
of teams of individual project surveyors.
1981 - 1986 : Joined the Badenoch Powling Partnership as
senior surveyor responsible for running major projects.
Became responsible for running division of the practice
dealing with construction based development clients.
1986 - 1989 : Joined Beard Dove Limited as associate director
responsible for development of design build projects and
contractor based development clients. Became main board
director of Beard Dove Quantity Surveying LImited with
responsibility for computer technology development and
design build contract development.
1989 - Present : Founded J. R. Brown Associates -
Construction Cost Consultants
